How comfy are they?

They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in synthetic materials. Also, they’re already distressed so your feet just slide in.

How do they perform over time?

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.

Would you recommend them?

Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They’re not cheap, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
